Hey! My name is Beth

I’m a fun and friendly Oxfordshire based celebrant who provides an alternative to the traditional ceremonies from days gone by.

I have been conducting ceremonies and services across the South of England and abroad since 2015 so I’m a bit of an old hat when it comes to public speaking and using a mic. I believe a ceremony should be heartfelt, relaxed, personal, definitely not awkward… and one that sets the tone for the rest of your day with your friends and family.

What do I offer?

Weddings/ Renewal of Vows

Let me guess? If you’ve got this far and you’re reading this, I know that you are a fun-loving couple and you’re looking for a way to make your wedding ceremony less solemn, and more fun, laid back and exciting!?

I can also guess that you’ve been to all your mates weddings and they tend to be the same old thing – does it feel a bit ‘cut and paste-y’? Well GUESS WHAT…..your wedding doesn’t have to be like that *YAAAY!* Also, there’s more to a ceremony than saying “I do”

The ceremony sets the scene for your entire day, and gets everyone pumped for the rest of the day ahead, so it should be meaningful, extraordinary and above all else, full of laughter and fun!

Naming Ceremonies

Babies and kids are cute aren’t they! Having three beautiful children of my own, I know how important secular ceremonies such as this can be for a family.

My naming ceremonies can include a tree planting, sand blending, wishing stones, time capsule, treasure chest, money tree, candle lighting, a butterfly release or showering your little one with petals – basically, you can have whatever you want!

Funerals/ Memorials

I have been conducting funeral services across the south of England since October 2020 and since then I have helped families within our community say a proper farewell to their loved one. I have a background in working with thousands of families during their time of grief and I have a Diploma in Bereavement Counselling and Public Speaking.
